Inegavelmente existe uma dúvida científica e filosófica no mundo que, alojada em corações leais, constitui precioso estímulo à posse de grandes e elevadas convicções; entretanto, Tiago refere-se aqui à inconstância do homem que, procurando receber os benefícios divinos, na esfera das vantagens particularístas, costuma perseguir variadas situações no terreno da pesquisa intelectual sem qualquer propósito de confiar nos valores substanciais da vida.

A dádiva chegará,mas depende de ti, da maneira de procederes na luta construtiva, persistindo ou não na confiança, sem a qual o Divino Poder encontra obstáculos naturais para exprimir-se em teu caminho.
