A verdade é a coisa mais óbvia e mais simples da existência, mas provoca uma enorme dificuldade, a mente não se interessa pelo óbvio. A mente não se entusiasma com o que é simples, porque lá no fundo a mente não é mais do que o seu ego, e o alimento do ego provém do desafio do longínquo. Quanto mais árdua, mais tortuosa e mais difícil for uma conquista, mais fascinada ficará a mente, sentindo-se pronta para partir rumo à estrela mais distante, sem querer saber o que lá irá encontrar. Esse facto torna-se irrelevante.

Truth is the Thing More Obvious 

 The truth is the most obvious thing and simplest of existence, but causes great difficulty, the mind is not concerned with the obvious. The mind is not enthusiastic about what is simple, because deep down the mind is no more than your ego, and the ego of the food comes from the distant challenge. The harder, more tortuous and more difficult for an achievement, more fascinated will the mind, feeling ready to depart for the most distant star, not wanting to know what will find there. This fact becomes irrelevant.
