Meriam Yahia Ibrahim é uma mulher sudanesa de 27 anos de idade, que foi condenada a morte após sua conversão ao Cristianismo. Está presa desde o dia 17/02/2014 e recebeu a sentença de 100 chicotadas seguida de morte por apostasia. Como ela estava grávida, as autoridades resolveram esperar o nascimento do bebê para depois matar a mãe. O bebê nasceu esta semana, uma menina saudável e o pai Daniel teve a oportunidade de visitá-los na prisão. Tanto a mãe quanto a bebê Maya estão bem, no entanto, agora a mãe pode enfrentar a sentença de morte. Ela está presa juntamente com a recém nascida Maya e seu outro filho de dois anos, Martin. Está sendo acusada de abandono ao Islã e adultério, uma vez que ela se casou com um cristão e o casamento não é valido na lei Islãmica. 

Por favor, vamos levantar um clamor em favor dessa família, por Meriam, por seu esposo Daniel sua e os pequenos filhos: Martin & Maya. Além de interceder, eu gostaria de convocar os irmãos a assinar um abaixo-assinado pressionando as autoridades do Sudão para libertar essa mãe.

As she was pregnant , the authorities decided to wait for the birth of the baby and then kill the mother . The baby was born this week , a healthy baby girl and father Daniel had the opportunity to visit them in prison . Both the mother and the baby are well Maya , however, now the mother could face the death sentence . She's stuck with a newborn Maya and her other son two years , Martin . Is being accused of abandoning Islam and adultery , since she married a Christian and marriage is not valid in Islamic law .

Please , let's raise a clamor in favor of this family , by Meriam , by her husband Daniel and their young children : Martin & Maya . In addition to intercede , I would like to call the brethren to sign a petition pressing the Sudanese authorities to release this mom .
